Taking residency in the beaches of southern California, singer-songwriters V Torres and Kira Bones have been paving their path in the music scene for several years. Each are front-women for their own bands. Torres plays in an indie-rock outfit under her name with Kira Bones on lead guitar. Kira Bones is the lead singer and guitarist for her psychedelic surf-rock band The Hollow Legs

V TORRES is a Los Angeles based singer, songwriter and musician whose sound is rooted in a unique range that blends indie-rock, funky beach Americana, and stripped down vocal-heavy ballads. Expansive, free, all out— V TORRES’ musical expression rides the power of the journey, delves into the gratitude of becoming, and leans into the fluidity of desire and intuition. Taking the driver’s seat co-producing her sophomore album, Woman, (releasing independently on September 1, 2026) her latitude in creative direction has led to a deeply personal project that oozes vulnerability and sheer grit that’s energetically punctuated with her signature style.

Perhaps Kira Bones is best summed up by music journalist and creator of Dirty Hippy Radio, Jeff Vincent, when he wrote: "While she does many different things — improvising southern country-fried, chicken-picking guitar solos, tapping percussion with her feet, blowing nasty harp with swampy comprehension, adding soft beauty to the facade before tearing it down and throwing it in your face with piercing vocals — the advent of Kira Bones does one general thing to a band: it brings a ton of soul.”

The universe continued to pair up Bones and V as a duo for gigs, so the two artists decided to start writing songs together and performing each other’s music through an indigo girls style lens that breaks down the songs into harmonious treasures.

We are proud to introduce to you BONES & V.
